.Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence.The National Projects Unit will support the scientific community at Vall d'Hebron throughout the full lifecycle of national competitive projects. The Unit encourages and supports researchers in the pursuit of national competitive funding for research, detecting opportunities and contributing to the development of quality proposals.Education and qualifications:Required:University degree related with job description dutiesExcellent written and oral communication skills in Catalan and/or SpanishDesired:Additional training in competitive research projectsGood level of English will be valued.Experience and knowledge:Required:Minimum +3 years of work experience in post-award management of basic and clinical research grants funded by national organizations (ISCIII, MINECO, PERIS, LMTV3...)Experience in financial management.Personal skills:Self-motivatedWell-organizedMeticulous, close attention to detailProactive and results-orientedSkilled at managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExcellent teamwork and relational skillsDesired:Experience in research institutions in the biomedical sector, particularly in ISCIII-accredited will be valuedMain responsibilities and duties:Management grant budgets, preparing financial reports and auditsMonitoring project work plan, scientific reports and implementation of grant agreementsAnticipating possible deviations during project implementation, planning risk contingency actions if necessaryEnsuring compliance with institutional policies and sponsoring agency regulations and policiesServing as liaison between researchers and funding agencies.Any other duties related to the job as requested to contribute to the general functioning of the Research Grants OfficeLabour conditions:Full-time position: 40h/week.Starting date: immediateRemuneration will depend on experience and skills.
