JOB DESCRIPTION: The Portfolio & Reporting Analyst is responsible for monitoring the progress and providing a summary status report of the Strategy and HBX functional areas Portfolio, providing visibility of the progress and metrics defined and ensuring the accuracy of the data reported.
Additionally, this role generates reporting around the audit activities of the Project Excellence & Portfolio reporting area.
The role is responsible for preparing the required reports and supporting all project managers to provide the right level of information.
Develop presentations with conceptual and/or quantitative analysis that facilitate the portfolio manager to define a clear strategy for the Strategy Portfolio.
The role is responsible for consolidating and following up on all corrective action plans agreed to solve key issues identified in projects where setup and performance are not up to the standards defined by the Project Excellence area.
The role is responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining project data (including financials, metrics, and plans), identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
It is the responsibility of this role to link the market trends provided by corporate and commercial strategy to the portfolio management, supporting the identification of gaps and required considerations.
Additionally, this role will ensure the creation of templates that allow the Business Sponsors & Owners to provide updates into the TO and ExCo meetings and supervise its final content, providing feedback to the presenter (usually n-1, n-2).
These reports will be presented in front of the ExCo members in the Transformation Office monthly committee and at the ExCo.
The role will assist in preparing communications including performance summaries, recommendations, and trends to support the overall strategy portfolio activities .
Responsibilities: Support on the monitoring of the Strategy Portfolio including all strategic projects and transformation programs to facilitate decision making by elevating the right level of reporting (progress, content, KPIs).
Prepare reporting on the performance of the portfolio including key metrics of the projects under the Strategy Portfolio.
Collect, organize, and monitor the information provided by the project managers and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Generate reporting around the audit activities of the Project Excellence & Portfolio reporting area.
Ensure the creation of templates that allow the Business Sponsors & Owners to provide updates into the TO and ExCo meetings.
Support with a data-driven mindset the recommendations for the strategy portfolio management including market trends and news alignment.
Facilitate workshops and continuous learning opportunities to help the project management community expand their skill sets.
Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) including solid presentation skills to synthesize complex topics into actionable insights (for senior stakeholders).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of project management is required.
Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
Ability to maneuver through uncertainty and constant change.
Experience in mentoring or training project management community.
Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools is desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in project/program management, portfolio management, financial investment analysis, or related field.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, project management, or related field.
Languages: English C1 minimum, Spanish.
Project Management skills and certification desirable.
Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
