We are currently looking for a Portfolio Pricing & E2E Deals Manager EMEA for our Refinish Business to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain .
The Portfolio Pricing & End-to-End Deals Lead is responsible for developing and managing the pricing strategy across the product portfolio, analyzing business deals, and ensuring competitive pricing through benchmarking and profitability assessments.
This role supports data-driven decision-making and ensures that product pricing aligns with the company's overall product strategy.
Key responsibilities: Lead the pricing strategy for new and existing Refinish products, ensuring alignment with the product value proposition and market positioning.
Responsible for price setting of new and existing products comprising the broad portfolio of Refinish products including paint, non-paint and services.
Ad-hoc support for price setting involving key business initiatives (tenders/ key accounts/ special price actions/ special projects) that require in-depth price simulations.
Collection and monitoring of competitive information.
Benchmarking against competition.
Participation in meetings relevant to the position.
Serve as the liaison between local Sales teams and senior leadership to present and secure approval for high-impact business deals requiring HQ involvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Product Management, Customer Segments to ensure smooth execution of pricing strategies and identify value capture opportunities.
Define, implement, and optimize the Deals Management process, including tools and templates for customer agreements (discounts, rebates, commissions, etc.)
for both Direct and Indirect sales channels.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to prepare business cases, set customer targets, and assess year-end results, ensuring deals are profitable and align with pricing frameworks and margin thresholds.
Monitor competitive pricing and maintain benchmarking data to support informed pricing decisions and maintain competitive positioning.
Enhance and maintain pricing tools and models for profitability simulations, ensuring accurate product comparisons and strategic pricing recommendations.
Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams on pricing analysis and adjustments to drive informed pricing actions across the organization.
Key requirements: Experience: Several years of experience in pricing, finance, or related business roles; sales or product management experience, Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and knowledge of additional European languages, beyond English, are advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Paint & Coatings industry, specifically the Refinish market, including products, competitors, and market trends.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
Financial Acumen: Excellent knowledge of P&L and profitability drivers, with experience in value-based pricing and product lifecycle management.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex, unstructured problems and simplify processes for scalability.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SAP FI & CO modules, and Tableau software; project management experience is desirable.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead in a multicultural environment.
