**Functions**
Asset Representation, S-P computation and risk management
We model hydro, wind & solar assets in cooperation with Quants & Trading
We maintain a dynamic and up-to-date representation of those assets and their exposures in GEMS tools and systems,
We show a realistic expected value of past and future revenues of these assets. Therefore we build production and S-P forecasts,
We quantify the uncertainties and risks around this expected value and expected production, and we drive the continued development of a flexible and scalable platform solution for assets portfolio risk management
Client advisory on risk management
Once we have a good view on the value and the risks, we advise the clients on how to reduce those risks (and secure the expected market value). We help our clients to define a risk mandate and - within that mandate - we recommend potential hedging strategies/actions.
We actively take part in the different energy management forums of our clients, including senior management of internal clients like Renewables-GBU, Thermal-GBU, Energy Solutions-GBU and external 3rd party clients (e.g. equity partners in assets' JVs).
Hedge execution
We execute the hedging strategies that were decided by our clients, under the form of mandates. For that, we enter into transactions with the Trading entities of the group.
Studies and portfolio monitoring
We conduct valuation and sensitivity studies on RES portfolios under management or during acquisition processes.
We provide support for similar services to Thermal and Energy Solutions BUs
We closely follow the commodity and energy regulation evolution to understand the potential impact on positions and revenues, and help our clients maximizing return/risk ratio.

Keen communicator to share a common understanding with clients, power plant operators, grid operators and GEMS colleagues.
