In this role, you will provide sustainability consulting and verification services for transport infrastructure projects, supporting international developers in reducing carbon emissions across the asset lifecycle—from design and construction to operation and maintenance.
You'll advise organizations on assessing the sustainability of infrastructure projects globally, helping create more efficient, sustainable, and resilient transport systems.
Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to transport infrastructure decarbonisation projects involving sustainable and resilient infrastructure design, construction, operations, with a focus on road transport but covering also types of infrastructure (e.G., airports, ports, railways).
Lead and contribute to the development of technical proposals primarily focused on infrastructure decarbonisation but with the possibility to contribute to wider transport-related projects.
Lead and contribute to business development activities leveraging your knowledge of the infrastructure industry and stakeholders, including infrastructure investors, developers, operators, international institutions, and industry associations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector technology developments, trends, challenges, and regulations.
Key Competencies and Experience Educated to a Bachelor's degree level or higher in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related fields.
Strong background in sustainable infrastructure design, construction, and operations, especially within road transport decarbonisation (although experience in additional types of infrastructure is positively valued).
Knowledge of low-carbon technologies and practices for infrastructure projects, including energy efficiency, sustainable materials, and resilient design.
Familiarity with appropriate data sources, constraints, and national and international policies on infrastructure decarbonisation and climate action.
Understanding of the infrastructure industry, including key stakeholders, regulations, trends, and international standards.
