We are looking for an experienced Strategic Lead Consulting who will lead our Power Consulting team in Spain. Reporting to the Unit Team Leader, you will be responsible for the development of advisory projects for major electricity sector agents, including distribution, transmission, retailers, and generators, helping them deal with regulatory, economic, and electricity challenges. You will assist in building and retaining long-lasting relationships with internal and external customers to support profitable growth and ongoing satisfaction.Your Responsibilities:Defines operating guidelines for the team and facilitates problem solving.Oversees progress within one's area of responsibility, identifies and manages technical issues.Drives team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per contract, safety, and quality requirements.Ensures that the technical consulting team is adequately resourced, developed, and equipped to meet business needs.Ensures correct assignment of tasks within the technical consulting team and defines relevant performance metrics.Creates work plans and cost estimates for consulting work.Establishes contacts within customer organizations and applies leading-edge technologies and processes to deliver customer benefit.Supports business development to negotiate contracts that meet customer objectives.Supports sales activities in making bids for major consulting assignments.Drives development of processes and practices based on customer feedback.Proposes research & development projects including the scope of the budget, supporting the project management strategy including productization, modularization, and following up on new products/solutions, including ongoing support with contract management activities.Conducts risk and opportunities assessments, ensuring delivery of the assignment as per agreed contract.Leads in the creation of new processes and tool enhancements following the study of advanced techniques, with a lead to coach and develop subordinate colleagues.Your Background:Master's degree and above, strong technical background in electrical engineering/automation, electricity market/economics, optimization.
