Your Role:
You will undertake New, Reactive or PPM tasking as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function within the Garrison.
You will ensure that all areas of areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.
You will not interfere or misuse anything provided in the interests of Health and Safety or protection of the environment.
You will report all Health and Safety defects, near misses, dangerous occurrences and spillages to the ASPIRE Helpdesk.
You will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of yourself, ADSL employees, customers or members of the public are not affected by your activities.
You will undertake all types of plumbing, mechanical repairs and installation work (including ancillaries) to the required standard and in line with any documentation provided.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: It is essential to hold an NVQ 2 in plumbing, a City and Guilds Tech 2 or equivalent, Manual Handling, and you must have, or be eligible to have MoD Security clearance.
Experience: Proven experience of working as a Plumber is a must, as is understanding safe systems of work and having a working knowledge of other disciplines within a multitask delivery service.
Skills: You must be able to operate effectively as a competent person and understand the needs and implications of RAMS, as well as understanding the requirement of Safe Systems of work. Having the ability to set out jobs from drawings and specification, and requisition the necessary installation materials is also a must.
Driving Licence: Full UK Valid driving licence required.
