Join our global TUI Musement team within our specialist business brand Intercruises as a Port Operations Manager where you will provide assistance to the port services teams as/when required.
Based from Piraeus, you will support all the Port Agency Managers across the region (Greece) in order to ensure an excellent service to their cruise line clients.
Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world.
You will be assisting cruise lines and other clients on their daily operations in Greece.
ABOUT THE JOBMonitor quality of service offered over our quality standards.Support the PA Supervisors and the rest of the team.Organize the work and ensure optimal delivery of services by the team.Liaise with senior management to ensure compliance with Intercruises quality standards.Define the Port Agency strategy within the GLOBAL Port Agency strategy.Research and define new products, distribution channels and services and develop the current ones.Analyze/evaluate where to open new Port Agency Offices in-house and make the necessary steps to open where appropriate.Take ownership of the local Port Operations commercial responsibilities, including P&L ownership, preparing commercial proposals for potential clients, supplier negotiations, and contracting.Maximize networking opportunities through internal contacts as well as trade associates, port site inspections, and cruise industry events and exhibitions.Source potential port agency opportunities and research product requirements in order to participate in bids.Create good working relationships with Port Authorities, providers, and third parties.Be the front face of Intercruises for all Port Agency related matters at a high level.Hold the Port Agency License for Greece and be the legal representative of the company locally. ABOUT YOUPort Agent and Port Operations team management experience is required for this role.Good academic background.
Maritime studies are desirable.Excellent communication skills with both English and Greek language, both written and oral.Good office administration and organizational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.Orientation to results and customer obsessed.Proactiveness and natural problem solver.Ability to analyze and resolve problems.Available to travel if required.
