We are a leading Engineering company looking for an outstanding PLC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our organization's mission by installing and programming automated and robotized lines, mainly welding or assembly lines for car manufacturing. You will enroll in a company leader in its sector, know cutting edge technology and professional methodology and practices.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement PLC programs according to project requirements.Load programs in the PLC onsite.Assist in the installation and commissioning of PLC systems.Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality.Collaborate with Robot Programmers, Engineers, and Technicians to develop solutions for automation projects.Elaborate documentation and training manuals.Provide technical support to resolve issues with PLC programs and systems.Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC programming and industrial control systems.Lead a team of Programmers.What will you need as a successful Senior PLC Programmer?Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic and structured text.Experience with programming software, such as Rockwell Automation RS Logix & RS Studio, Siemens TIA PORTAL.Familiarity with industrial automation standards and protocols, such as EtherNet/IP.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Methodical, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Willingness to travel to client sites as required.Intermediate or conversational English level.NEEDED: Standard Mercedes Benz - Integra
