Position background In the GTM analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.
As a Platform Engineer you will focus on ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are operating at peak performance, and you will collaborate across teams on various projects. You will also help investigate various issues and put together and execute remediation plans. Also, part of your work will be to offer L2 support helping users with technical issues or questions as well you will put together documentation regarding various platform features.

What you will do Perform server administration activities, security permissions, group policies.Build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.Investigate and resolve technical issues.Implement and manage security or integrity and backup procedures in collaboration with other stakeholders.Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and come up with solutions.Develop libraries and scripts to automate platform environment deployments and backups.Develop and maintain code libraries, plugins which help automate engineering workloads.What you will need: Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.3+ years in a similar role.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Experience with AWS Services (IAM, KMS, S3, Glue, EC2).Experience working with IaC technologies such as Terraform.Proficient in coding using technologies like pySpark, Python, SQL.Knowledge of working with Jira and Jira Service Desk is welcomed.Understanding of Big Data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, Spark is an advantage.Experience working with DataIku DSS or Databricks platform is an advantage.Who We Are At HP, we believe in the power of ideas.
