Platform And Systems Engineering

Summary:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to support on minimizing human error and maximizing productivity in Production through automation and own developed software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop automation of CMM and CNC (CAM) programs from NX designs

Automate creation of 2D and 3D models

Create and/or maintain production support programs, including documentation, testing and user training

Create templates, parametrical programs, databases and all documents required for standardization

Create postprocessor for CNC machines

Collaboration with Industrialization Engineering team

Participate in Lean activities, such as Kaizens and other continuous improvement events

Identify resources needed for innovations projects

Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience:

Mechanical engineering, industrial design, computer science, electronics or industrial automation

Minimum proven experience of 3 years in Industrial environment

Fluent in English

Technical Skills:

Desired knowledge on VisualStudio, .NET (VB or C), CAD/CAM (NX), Teamcenter, Database management SQL

CNC and Grinding knowledge

Good communication skills with co-workers and external stakeholders

Awareness of state-of-the-art technology

Problem solving mindset

Travel: Not required on regular basis. Occasionally to trade shows and/or other Hyperion sites.
