If so, you might be the Plant Material Planner we are looking for at Forvia.As a Plant Material Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of production line delivery with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.
You will be responsible for building and following up the procurement program, managing the supplier delivery performance and the logistics partners service, achieving the transportation program and the transportation scheme, directing the packaging management, ensuring the compliance of the logistics conventions, and verifying the sales and production plan capacity requirements.
- Update supplier's delivery schedule based on SAP operation results, and be responsible for weekly rolling forecast and order release to suppliers, and responsible for tracking arrival; - Adjust the demand planaccording to the updated plan of the customer; - Check with suppliers to ensure correct accounts; - Maintain and update the main parameters of product structure and materials in the system to ensure their consistency and accuracy; - On-site material shortage and overflow alarm management; - Control additional costs for purchases; - Track ECR/ECO implementation, provide correct material switching dates and ensure there is no slack; - Lead the updating of logistics agreements and packaging agreements with suppliers; - Reduce inventory levels and achieve inventory budget by analyzing inventory structure and optimizing delivery methods; - Monitor and improve FCS Usage/Misusage KPI; - Monitor supplier delivery performance and improve; - Maintain good relationship with suppliers and obtain supplier information in time; - Ensure complete and timely communication with N+1, department managers and internal customers, and participate in the improvement of department performance with relevant colleagues.Your profile and competencies to succeedThe ideal candidate should have:Minimum education level:Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in logistics management or supply chain is preferred; Professional Experience:More than 2 years of logistics related experience, master the process of import and export business, understand the arrangement of production plan; Skills and LCM:Proficient in SAP system and understand SAP/MRP logic; Have inventory analysis ability; Have supplier managementand performance evaluation ability, with good communication and negotiation skills; Can work in a planned manner and complete work as planned; Ability to manage complexity; Ability to drive results;Ability to be customer focused; CET-4 or above/fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; Proficient in various OFFICE software; Values:Have strong teamwork ability; Can embrace agility;Can drive with vision.What we can do for youAt Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which provides significant opportunities for career development.We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
