We have an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up organisation.
In an ambitious growth strategy, we are now seeking a Planning, Ordering & Distribution (POD) Manager to join the Polestar Spain team.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will cover sales forecasting, order tracking, delivery planning, registrations, as well as the various internal fleets.
You will focus the OTD strategy to ensure that foremost, the Polestar customers are delivered their cars in an efficient and premium manner.
It will require someone who can manage multiple high-level stakeholders, both internal and external, as POD is integral to the success of Polestar Spain.
You will possess a positive, 'can-do' attitude, excellent time management, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and switch priorities as needed.
What you'll do:
The core responsibilities include:
Ensure that all cars within the Spain market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way (could support Portugal Market).Monitoring and reporting on order bank, creating forecasting models and subsequent targets.Review and manage third-party logistics providers.Placing stock orders, reporting on stock situation, and managing order matching.Departmental KPI/Scorecard reporting.Ensuring data within the factory order system (VISTA) is accurate and supports dashboard reports, highlighting any discrepancies between systems to central teams.Troubleshooting any problems within the OTD (Order To Delivery) journey and escalating where necessary.Investigate and follow up on process gaps and highlight opportunities for improvement.Work with the Local Finance Control to ensure financial flow is working.Planning and overseeing requirements for the registration of vehicles.Supporting the Head of Operations & MD in developing the market/OTD strategy in Spain and Portugal. Who you are:
To be successful in this role you have/are:At least 5 years of experience in automotive.Excellent oral and written communication in English.A valid driver's license.Excellent knowledge of Excel.
