Planning Engineer

Tasks: On a specific scope of work (Building/Area/PBS):
1. Build and keep the Program up-to-date in order to ensure its compliance with the scope of work,
2. Identify and monitor main milestones, compare against the baseline, alert in case of slippage and propose mitigation/action plans,
3. Implement and follow the main interfaces between different stakeholders within the building/area/PBS, and in particular identify the Inter-Project Links with other IO agencies,
4. Identify and analyze Critical Paths and Sub-Critical Paths after each planning update and as part of cut-off procedure,
5. Assess change impacts upon request of Project Delivery Leaders and Coordinators
6. Report and provide the Project Delivery Manager and Leaders with a clear view of the status, trends and issues of the specific scope of work and, most importantly, compose the chapter dedicated to this Planning scope, in the Project Monthly Report,
7. Run what-if scenarios and propose optimizations where necessary,
8. Liaise with F4E Schedulers and F4E Technical Responsible for schedule-related topics. Qualifications: Engineer, Architect or fields of studies related to Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry.
Additional qualification/training:
Project planning.
Required experience: At least 2 yearsusing Primavera P6 and on-site planning experience.
Software(s): Advanced level of Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.
Languages: English, minimum B2 level.
Spanish and/or French, a strong plus.
Job location: Cadarache, near Aix-en-Provence, France, with the possibility to then continue in the Madrid HQ (Spain) or in France in another part of the same project (ITER).
