The Siemens Energy Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics organization creates and enables Data and AI-driven solutions and the corresponding governance and platform to grow and optimize the Siemens Energy businesses and operations.Our team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.How You'll Make an Impact / ResponsibilitiesDrive technical delivery and be accountable for overall data engineering strategy, data orchestration architecture, and our data operations execution frameworkDefine the target data architecture for Siemens Energy's data estate, considering the construct of the business areas, data domains, data products and the anticipated integration and provisioning for multi-purpose consumption patternsAct as a product owner of our data platform and technology services to define the platform requirements and roadmap, and contribute to the design of the underlying infrastructure to facilitate data sharing and data provisioning with the necessary access management control to achieve federated data governance, data mesh frameworkDefine the target operating model of a modern data and AI factory, and create the framework to monitor and manage the performance and quality of integration pipelines, and to measure improve our data development velocity and efficiencyDefine standards and design patterns to optimize data sharing without sacrificing flexibility, promote scale and a composable data landscape that will serve are current and future data needs.Provide good foundational frame for cost management and control for our data and platform operationsCollaborate with data owners and data delivery teams to design and execute key initiatives, defining minimum viable product (MVP) scope for the upcoming initiatives and outline future roadmap of enhancements and potential improvementsWork with enterprise architects and our IT and software engineering organizations to define data integration requirements, and the right access control framework to facilitate data provisioning at scaleAdvocate modern ways of software development and being an ambassador for scrum and SAFe frameworksKeep up to date of latest developments in data science and data engineering, and keep up to date with state-of-the-art technology to best support the business in making truly data-driven decisionsDocument and present methodologies, procedures, and project results to stakeholders and data professionals across different functionsWhat You Bring / Skills, CapabilitiesExtensive experience in the field of Data & Analytics and Data Architecture and at least 5+ years of experience as a team leadExcellent understanding and working knowledge of data ingestion, data modelling & analytics with broad and in-depth expertise in database and data warehouse modeling10+ years experience in developing streaming and batch data pipelines for both cloud and hybrid infrastructures and with streaming frameworks (AWS IoT stack)Hands-on experience with modern software development toolsExtensive data analysis experience and the ability to slice & dice data as neededExperience with cloud providers in data architecture (AWS, Azure)Good to have: Experience in data mesh implementationYou have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills to collaborate across multicultural, global teams and proven experience in navigating complex, matrixed organization, and driving outcome at scaleYou are open-minded, love to learn and constantly improve own skillsYou have excellent writing and communication skills in English, knowledge of German or any other language is a plus
