We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to form an integral part of the continued rapid growth of Cognizant's Spanish Sales team, expanding our global service portfolio from Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing services for large accounts in Spain. The role will involve daily exposure to our clients and Cognizant senior management. Reporting into Spain Head and based in Barcelona Office, this role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to thrive and grow within our Sales Leadership Team.
Overview Client Relationship Managers are key contributors to the commercial side of Cognizant IT and Consulting Business. CRM will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
They act as business owners for assigned accounts, leading the day-to-day activities and P&L of these accounts. The CRM works with delivery teams to enhance backlog, optimizing the resource mix and navigating scope changes to ensure client expectations are met. They work towards establishing a positive client experience by conducting client meetings. A CRM's shared measures are margin, revenue, client satisfaction & employee retention.
What are you looking for? Client Management: Develop and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key clients in the Consumer Goods sector.Account Growth: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and work to expand our footprint on new logos.Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our IT solutions according to client needs and objectives.Client Advocacy: Act as the voice of the client within the company ensuring their needs and feedback are communicated and addressed.Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on account performance including key metrics and client satisfaction.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.Consumer Goods Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and developments through our partnership with Hyperscalers, specific trainings and success stories from other geos.Drive in autonomy: RFPs / proactive bids with regards to renewals, extensions, and expansion.Opportunities: Thrive and be recognized by your commercial performance. What are we looking for? 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role from previous IT Professional services firms / offshore outsourcing industry.Strong focus on Consumer Goods segment, with an active account network in Spain.Good understanding of Sales and Marketing business area.Hunter mindset, proven track record to contribute to new business development efforts.Aptitude to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite.Proactive mindset, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
