.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Sales to be part of our luxury lifestyle resort in Southern Spain - Sotogrande, San Roque (Cádiz).WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing and within the limits established by the company's policies and procedures manual, your responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities, while assisting in the management of the hotel's corporate, leisure and MICE accounts.The Associate Director of Sales will also assume responsibility for the overall management of the administrative function within the sales department. All tasks to be carried out must be performed at the highest level and in accordance with hotel standards, company policies and procedures, objectives and legal requirements.Customer Orientation:To give a professional, friendly and efficient impression of the Hotel at all times.Ensure that all tasks related to guest comfort, guest satisfaction or the impression they receive of the Hotel should be treated with the highest priority.Establish a good working relationship with guests, visitors, and colleagues by creating a team that works well together and with other departments.Contribute to guest satisfaction at all times by providing high quality personalized services during their stay.Assist as required/requested to resolve any guest comments and handle them in the most efficient manner.Have knowledge of the facilities and services, events offered by the hotel and the surrounding area and actively promote them.Operations:Maximize Rooms, F&B, and MICE sales.Achieve key performance in relation to appointments, customer interaction, and account development.Achieve new business targets and manage an agreed portfolio of accounts to retain and develop business.Assist and collaborate on internal marketing activities, familiarization trips, client hospitality events, presentations, shows, and promotional activities.Prepare accurate and prompt cost estimates and respond to clients with budgets.Produce necessary reports on completed sales activity, including details of face-to-face customer appointments, presentations, familiarization trips, and any other customer-related interactions.Update and maintain all market segment sales contact lists and information in the systems used.Coordinate and execute all direct mailings as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.Conduct market research/sales campaigns as required.Compile sales packs and ensure there is an adequate supply of relevant stationery, brochures, and giveaways.Research and identify new business opportunities through leads referred by the booking/conference teams and trade listing publications.Assist in office administration by ensuring that all accounts have the necessary documentation, contracts, contact forms, and updated account development plans on file
