What will you do as a Piping Project Manager?
Project Management and Engineering -You will supervise and coordinate teams of technicians and designers to ensure the completion of engineering with quality and on time, meeting the client's specifications.
-You will establish a work schedule that ensures the correct alignment and assembly of pipelines, as well as their integration with other systems.
Coordination of Installations and Supplies -You will coordinate and supervise the installation of pipelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and scope, in collaboration with customers and internal departments.
-You will manage the supply of materials, tools and equipment needed for installations and repairs.
Resource Management and Budgeting -You will efficiently manage the budget by optimizing resources and identifying areas for improvement.
Tracking and Communication -Maintain a detailed record of work progress.
-You will negotiate with customers and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions aligned with project objectives.
What are we looking for?
-Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Naval Engineering is a must.
-Fluent level in Spanish and English (speaking, reading and writing).
-Between 3-5 years of experience in industrial projects.
-Experience in reading, interpreting and applying contracts.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, pipe flow diagrams (P&IDs) and technical specifications.
-Knowledge of ASME/EN codes and standards for piping and pressure equipment in the marine industry.
-PMP certification or project management courses.
