This pioneering company, with a history spanning several decades, is recognized for its significant contributions to a sustainable energy future.Your Mission as a Piping InspectorAs a Piping Inspector, your primary mission will be to oversee the piping inspection processes on various Oil Gas projects, ensuring all practices meet both project specifications and regulatory standards. Your role is crucial in safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our operations.You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Piping Inspector
Monitor and implement quality procedures, oversee pipe installation and fabrication, ensuring adherence to project standards.
Verify and ensure all necessary inspections and tests are conducted according to statutory and project requirements.
Coordinate quality activities with subcontractors, clients, and other parties on-site.
Maintain accurate inspection records, review potential risks, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Conduct on-site visual and hands-on inspections, and validate the qualifications of welding personnel involved.
Manage inspection notifications and arrangement of inspections, ensuring timely closure of any open issues or punch-points.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Piping Inspector
Minimum 5 years' experience in piping inspection within the Oil Gas sector.
Proficient in inspection of both metallic and non-metallic piping.
Bachelor's or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Certifications: ASNT Level-II (UT, RT, PT, MPT), NACE Level-II or BGAS, and CSWIP 3.1 – Welding Inspector.
Extensive knowledge of ASME B 31.3, ASME IX, and other relevant international standards.
