As a Piping Engineer in the industry sector, your role will be responsible for the technical and functional aspects of the piping system, ensuring that the design is efficient, safe, and meets international standards. Your expertise will support clients in one of these locations: Madrid, Sevilla, or Cádiz, effectively contributing to the enhancement of safety standards within the industry.
What would you be doing in your day-to-day? Designing Piping Systems: Create detailed designs for piping systems that transport liquids, gases, or steam within industrial facilities.Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials based on temperature, pressure, and fluid type.Pipe Sizing: Determine the correct diameter and thickness of pipes to ensure safe and efficient fluid flow.Preparing Technical Documentation: Develop piping isometric drawings, P&ID diagrams, and detailed installation plans.Stress and Flexibility Analysis: Perform calculations to ensure pipes can withstand stresses, thermal expansion, and vibrations.Flow Simulations: Use software tools like AutoPIPE or CAESAR II to simulate fluid behavior and system performance.Project Management: Oversee piping projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Collaboration with Other Disciplines: Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers for integrated system designs.Vendor and Contractor Management: Supervise procurement of materials and manage relationships with contractors during installation.On-Site Installation Supervision: Ensure piping systems are installed according to design specifications on the construction site.Quality and Safety Testing: Conduct pressure tests and ensure all systems comply with safety and quality standards.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure piping designs and installations meet local and international codes (ASME, ANSI, ISO).Risk and Safety Management: Identify potential risks in design and installation, and implement mitigation measures.System Maintenance and Optimization: Provide ongoing support for maintenance, system performance evaluations, and improvements.What do we need from you? Here are the key qualifications and skills required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in a piping role.Proven track record using Smartplant 3D / AVEVA / CAESAR II.Excellent communication and training skills.Good level of English.Spanish is a must.What about our recruiting process?
