We are seeking an individual who acts as a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Senior Cloud Platform Engineer.
In your day-to-day as an engineer in the team, you will be a hands-on technical expert leading the design and delivery of cloud platforms using best practices and knowledge to improve current processes and services.
Responsibilities: Drive technology strategy by owning cloud platform infrastructure design (GCP).
This requires strong collaboration across teams with architects and product owners, as well as guiding and coordinating the work of other engineers in the team. Deliver infrastructure-as-code and peer-review code of colleagues, mainly using Terraform and Terragrunt. Create and use CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and integrate with multiple tools to enable security by design. Enable software developers to use CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code autonomously by creating quality documentation, training sessions, and delivering features together. Drive adoption of DevSecOps and SRE practices. What you bring: Experience designing, engineering and/or operating large-scale cloud-computing platforms using GCP.
AWS is a plus. Experience designing & implementing automation tools and Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt). Experience working with Linux systems. Foundation in TCP/IP and layer 3 protocols. Experience or a desire to work with DevOps CI/CD toolchain (e.g.
