Role:
We are now looking for a Data Scientist to reinforce our scaling Data team. You will ensure to give direction on business decisions by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on evidence coming from our data, defining an AB testing framework, culture, and best practices, and developing and maintaining machine learning models for internal and user-facing purposes in collaboration with other teams.
Your Challenge:
You will be kickstarting the Data Science initiative at Picker. Our priority is to understand how to best catalog and classify our inventory in such a way that is actionable for the business and help us lay the foundations on how best to AB test. This is just the tip of the iceberg; let's shape the future together!
Tasks: Run analyses for actionable quantitative research on relevant business topics, on your own or in collaboration with data analysts.Develop and maintain an AB testing framework that can be used by data analysts and other business teams.Prototyping Machine learning models.Collaborate with engineers in productionizing machine learning models.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the problems they are planning to solve and proactively come up with appropriate solutions.Spearhead Data Science initiatives and speak up strong opinions on best practices.Give and solicit feedback from other team members in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
