THE OPPORTUNITYTitle: Physical Security Systems Analyst
Location: Spain
Iron Mountain's Data Centers operate a global colocation platform that enables customers to build tailored, sustainable, carrier and cloud-neutral data solutions from single cabinets to wholesale data centers in 19 locations on three continents.
The Physical Security Systems Analyst has the task of monitoring and maintaining the various security systems related to physical security in Iron Mountain Data Centers. This role is responsible for configuring, installing, maintaining and upgrading (with vendor support) security systems hardware and software. It also provides operational support for the organization's physical security systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, and hardware devices.
Executes day to day upkeep, management, and triage of all access control, CCTV, biometric, asset, and visitor management systems and their related workflows. Supports projects based on the company's growth roadmap as well as site driven, improvement initiatives. Intermediate IT and Network concepts' understanding is crucial for contributing to successful project completions.
Interacts globally with manufacturers and vendors, at multiple sites, in order to support service and project execution. Collaborates with site security management to ensure smooth physical security operations at applicable IMDC facilities.
Your role in our mission:
Shares responsibility for the state of all physical security systems at IMDC locations, with a focus on the EMEA and APAC regions, to provide the best experience for our customers and teammates. Maintains a clear and detailed record of all physical security systems' components deployed in the field along with all corresponding IT data. Coordinates with vendors to assist with project executions while adhering to IMDC standards. Proactively monitors the health of the various security systems while responding to issues in accordance with our incident management policy. Processes requests assigned to Physical Security Systems in the ServiceNow queue. Actively responds to physical security incidents, especially those related to the systems' functions.
Provide support to local management in relation to new installs and customer builds. Participates in internal and external meetings to ensure proper completion of such projects. Assists with internal and external audits, working in conjunction with security and compliance personnel to ensure accurate results. Coordinates annual PM testing of all sites in scope. Tracks performance of maintenance agreements and other vendor agreements.
Valued skills and experience:
2+ years of physical security systems experience. Detailed technical knowledge working with the following systems is highly preferred: Honeywell ProWatch, Avigilon, Traka, Iris ID, Morpho Manager, and ServiceNow. Low voltage wiring and installation experience is preferred. Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships through effective communication in order to protect, and build upon the security stance of IMDC and the Iron Mountain brand. Be proficient in communication within all levels of the organization, including customers. Candidates should possess strong organizational and prioritization skills. Strong security and customer service mindset. Fluent in English and local language both speaking and writing. Experience in a problem solving role with a systematic approach is preferred. Must have strong computer skills and basic knowledge of networking and IT concepts. Able to work effectively in a fast paced and growing environment. Security clearance via Government or other agency background check may be required for customer support.
