We are looking for a Photonics Quantum Techs Researcher for supporting cutting-edge research on photonics and optoelectronics applied to sensing applications Tasks to be performed: Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to design and prototype photonic systems.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile: Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field or M.Sc with at least two years of relevant experience.
Minimum 2 year experience in a similar position.
Strong background in photonics and optoelectronic instrumentation.
Experience in designing and building experimental setups for laser sensing applications involving free-space optics and optoelectronic instrumentation.
Programming skills in languages like Python, MATLAB, or similar for data analysis and simulation.
Proven expertise in experimental photonic sensors (experience in quantum sensing experiments using NV centers is highly valued).
Curiosity and bold attitude to venturing into novel RD domains and embracing state-of-the-art technologies.
Strong proficiency in English.
