PhD Student 'Interoperable Remote Health Innovation brought to Scale' The UCAM-SENS unit is looking for a PhD Student under the European Project IRHIS , 'Interoperable Remote Health Innovation brought to Scale'.
Background:
The UCAM-SENS is a scientific unit that aims for the digital transformation of key domains such as Health, Sport, Food, and the Environment by utilizing advanced (bio)chemical sensing based on electrochemistry and imaging principles. The unit is led by Prof. Maria Cuartero (ERC Fellow) and Prof. Gaston Crespo, renowned investigators with a vast academic experience. The mission of UCAM-SENS is built on four pillars: (i) RESEARCH , (ii) EDUCATION , (iii) INNOVATION , (iv) INDUSTRIAL PARTNERSHIP . The unit is located at the HiTech research building, fostering a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
Requirements:
Completed M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or related fields.
Demonstrated experience in (bio)chemical sensors, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, wearable sensors.
Publications and/or master's thesis related to the above experience.
Advanced English level.
General Skills:
Goal-oriented and persevering.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, professionalism, analytical skills.
Advanced English proficiency.
