NoOffer Description The NETCOM Lab invites applications for a PhD Student position supervised by Prof. Albert Banchs in Sustainable Mobile Networks. The student will work on sustainability in 6G networks, participating in EU projects with leading industrial partners, involving the following topics and tasks:Design and implementation of energy-efficient algorithms and protocolsResource allocation models and algorithms for sustainable networksNetwork slicing, virtualization and orchestration technologiesPerformance and energy analysis and experimental evaluation of wireless systemsQualifications Proficiency in English is mandatoryExcellent academic transcriptsSolid background in networking and mobile communicationsHigh motivation to conduct a PhD in the area of mobile networkingAdditional Information IMDEA Networks Institute aims to increase the proportion of women and therefore qualified female applicants are explicitly encouraged to apply.
