Applications are invited by the University of Alicante President to create a pre-shortlist of candidates for an open-ended contractual position as a PhD junior researcher to collaborate with the funded line of research "Design of data spaces and open data management". Project TSI-(phone hidden)-24 is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Function and by the European Union-Next GenerationEU/PRTR.

Entering into the contract will be subject to the receipt of funding for the project.
Number of job vacancies: one.
Job position: PhD junior researcher.
Funded line of research: "Design of data spaces and open data management".
Working hours: 37.5 hours/week.
Remuneration: €2,400 gross/monthly (plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations).

Tasks to be carried out:
Assisting with the development of an environmental data space.
Determining the sources of useful environmental data.
Assisting with defining the governance of the data space.
Establishing mechanisms for interoperability of environmental data.
Developing use cases in the environmental data space.
Disseminating project results through scientific publications.
Performing any other task related to the design of the environmental data space.
Job profile
Preference will be given to those with:
Experience and training related to the tasks listed.
Qualification: Official Master's degrees in relevant fields or equivalent.
PhD in Ecosystem Conservation and Restoration or equivalent.
Requirements for applicants
Hold or be in the process of obtaining a PhD degree certificate.
Hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biology or Environmental Sciences plus an official Master's degree.
Be a Spanish national or in a relevant legal situation.
Be at least 16 years of age and not exceed the maximum compulsory retirement age.
