First project in which the successful applicant will collaborate.Name of the project: "Rational design of hybrid materials for lighting and photocatalysis (NANOLIGHT)".Reference: CIPROM/2023/2.Funding body: Valencia Region Government's Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment.Dept./Institute: Department of Inorganic Chemistry.Tasks to be carried out:Synthesis of zeolites by direct synthesis or phase transformation.Synthesis of mesoporous zeolites using surfactants.Modification of zeolites by incorporating metal functionality.Physical-chemical characterisation of said materials (elemental composition, gas adsorption, IR and UV spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, TEM, XPS).Characterisation of said materials using solid-state NMR.Assistance in writing related publications and reports.Any other task related to this job position that may arise during the implementation of the project.Third.
Job profile.Preference will be given to those with:Experience and training related to the tasks listed in the second section of this call and to:Synthesis and characterisation of zeolites by direct synthesis or phase transformation and their catalytic evaluation.Incorporation of functionality (metallic nanoparticles or cations) into said materials.Characterisation of zeolite-based materials using solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance.Applications in catalysis for environmental remediation.Characterisation of materials using techniques based on synchrotron light.Knowledge of Materials Science.Qualification:Official Master's degree in Chemistry (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7) or any other Master's degree with equivalent content.Fourth.
