About Eurofins Villapharma: Located in Murcia, Spain, Eurofins Villapharma is Eurofins Discovery's flagship center for synthetic chemistry, focused on supporting growth in chemistry services and Eurofins Discovery's integrated drug discovery business, branded DiscoveryOne.
A new 63,000 square foot facility will initially support chemical synthesis and purification, more than doubling Eurofins Discovery's current capacity.
The state-of-the-art facility will provide chemistry capacity and capabilities and enable new, associated services.

Job Responsibilities: You will conduct original research aimed at the design and synthesis of novel, biologically active compounds in hit discovery, hit-to-lead and lead optimization programs.
As a part of a group, you will need to plan the work objectives and contribute to guide and supervise some chemistry technicians.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong customer focus and an ability to work well in a team setting are required.
Qualifications: Strong background and proven experience in Heterocyclic and Parallel Synthesis (both, in solution and on solid phase).
Isolation, purification and characterization of complex organic compounds.
PhD level degree.
Postdoctoral experience is recommended.
Strong track of publications/patents/contributions in the field of organic synthesis/heterocyclic/medicinal chemistry.
Previous experience in guiding and mentoring technical staff.
