YOUR ROLEAudit/challenge key elements of process safety to ensure processes are being followed and are working as intended in production sites throughout Europe.Carry out Process Safety risk assessments, right from conceptual stage and up through post operational phase on new and existing processes.Monitor, identify process safety gaps, develop action plans.Assist European sites in formulating emergency response procedures for process safety related incidents and their deployment.Ensure procedures comply with local laws & help conduct / organize periodic emergency mock drills.Confirm proper resolution and closure of recommendations from process safety studies, audits and incident investigations.Help prioritize actions to eliminate/mitigate process safety risks on Sites.Participate in the process safety engineering aspects of key investment projects and ensure that projects fully address process safety in-design and satisfy process safety requirements.Assist in the implementation and improvement of Process Safety Management Systems.YOUR SKILLSUniversity degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or adequate.At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of operations or engineering.Proven track record in implementing key aspects of Process Safety Management.Strong technical and data analysis skills.Demonstrated ability to learn new chemistries and processes.Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and conflict management skills (horizontal & vertical).Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to communicate within all levels of the organization.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Ability to embrace & drive change.Ability to travel up to 50% within Europe.Henkel is an equal opportunity employer.
