Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Project Engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain.
We seek an engineer with experience in project management, either in a client or consulting company, to actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.
Project Management Phases: The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.Project Feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time-schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.Project Preparation Phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.Project Realization Phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management. What is the Role About? The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver to the client a more than satisfactory quality of services within the defined budget and planning.
Qualifications and Experience: We are looking for an engineer with experience in:
Project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, construction supervision.Complete life cycle of projects such as master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management.Valuable experience in the Food & Beverages sector.Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.Notions in civil works, building utilities, and process utilities.Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.Valuable experience in mid to big sized projects (> 1M€). Requirements: Industrial engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Ind.
Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanical (and/or similar).
3 to 6 years of relevant experience on industrial projects.
Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, and French or German is an asset.
Driver License B.
Knowledge in PC-literate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications, MS Project, Auto CAD.
Candidates should have a Global Mindset, focus on results, be challenging, pragmatic, proactive, and possess leadership skills.
