You will be tasked with improving our product insights for Personal Lines Market Managers by advancing product analytics, driving our analytic and competitive tools and data.

Location: This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
Our hybrid schedule is 3 days in office, two days remote, working out of our Bloomington, IL office.
How will you make an impact as Personal Lines Product Analyst ?
Drive the successful development of new products and the effective management and enhancement of existing products by making recommendations regarding product design, pricing, underwriting, agency management, distribution, claims and other processes.
Ensures overall goals for production and underwriting profitability are met by analyzing premium rates, loss experience, and retention.
Monitors the mix of business in assigned state(s), identifying changes in the mix and reasons for those changes.
In conjunction with marketing, develops assigned state(s) business profit and growth strategies and translates business ideas and market opportunities into new product ideas by researching and maintaining awareness of all major competitors' current market positions (i.e., rates, service levels, financial positions and operating strategies), business directions, financial dynamics, and new technologies.
Communicates and coordinates key profit metrics by coordinating with the Information Technology (IT) department to ensure proper implementation of rate revisions, new products, new product features, and other initiatives; develops working relationships with Accounting, Actuarial, Claims, Customer Service and IT.
Qualifications: Do you have what we're looking for?
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups.
Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and processes.
Experience with forecasting and modeling.
Experience with SQL and understanding of relational databases.
Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Compensation and Benefits Salary: USD $65,000 $90,000 / yr Our benefits package, which includes insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), 401(k) with company match, parental leave, paid time off, paid company holidays and time off to volunteer in your community.
