Job Summary:
The Personal Driver will be responsible for transporting the employer and/or family members to various destinations, ensuring safety, punctuality, and comfort. The driver is expected to maintain the vehicle in top condition, navigate efficiently, and provide a professional, discreet service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive employer or family members to and from meetings, appointments, and other engagements.
Ensure punctuality by planning routes and being aware of traffic conditions.
Offer a comfortable and smooth ride.
Regularly inspect the vehicle for maintenance issues and keep it in excellent condition.
Schedule routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) and repairs when necessary.
Plan routes using GPS, accounting for traffic, road closures, and weather conditions.
Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to local traffic laws.
Ensure the safety of passengers at all times, including handling emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal information of the employer and family.
Keep track of schedules and changes to ensure timely transportation.
Provide assistance with other duties as requested by the employer.
Willing to be relocated.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Proven experience as a personal or professional driver.
Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility with work hours and tasks.
Work Environment:
The role of a personal driver typically involves working long hours, sometimes with little notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The driver should be prepared for periods of waiting and must ensure availability during urgent needs.
