We are looking for a Permitting Specialist to join our Greenfield & Construction Department and support our mission of powering the world with renewable energy.
In this role, you main responsibilities will be: Project Development Support: Assist in developing PV, wind, storage, and hydrogen projects from greenfield to COD, ensuring milestones meet regulatory and departmental goals.
Approvals & Procurement: Coordinate internal approvals and procurement, ensuring compliance with company standards and project timelines.
Document Review: Review, organize, and track incoming project documents (PLAs) for accuracy and compliance, ensuring timely follow-up and proper storage.
Permitting Oversight: Oversee the permitting process and legalization of assets at COD, maintaining regulatory compliance for new developments.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments (P&O, M&A, R&D) to support project goals and drive outcomes.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Legal and Renewable energy background, will be highly valuable.
? Professional Experience : At least 2 years in renewable energy permitting and asset development (PV and Wind, utility-scale), with hands-on involvement in acquisition, RTB, and COD phases in Spain.
Strong expertise in local regulatory processes is essential, covering land acquisition, environmental permitting, administrative procedures, grid interconnection, and more.
? Regulatory Knowledge : Deep understanding of Spain's renewable energy framework, including regulations for storage and hydrogen projects, enabling efficient navigation through complex legalities.
? Intermediate to Advanced English language proficiency (B2-C1) , Advanced Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2) , both written and verbal.
Bonus points if you have: Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally, with any prior international experience a plus.
