We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.Position: Permanent Investment AccountantLocation: Asturias, SpainWorking Arrangement: This is a hybrid working role, requiring you to be in the office for 3 days per week.Responsibilities:Permanent investment and operating lease accountingPerform reconciliations and review reconciliations.Execute and engage on all internal control activities & SOX controls defined within the function.Drive and facilitate interactions with internal/external customers and third parties (corporate/local & regional finance/plant accountants).Prepare and deliver financial reports.Participate in internal & external financial audits.Provide functional training and support to peers.Perform system set up and maintenance of specific systems as required in the functional area.Prepare and deliver financial reports to our internal & external customers.Perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.Perform closing activities (roll-forward/depreciation & amortization/SAP-CFIN/HFM).Consult on cost vs. capital questions and any other (accounting) queries.Be actively involved in projects such as system implementation, S4 Hana, acquisitions, merges.Key Requirements:University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.Fluency in English is a must; other European languages are considered a plus.Demonstrate experience in finance/accounting areas, with a minimum of 2-3 years finance/accounting experience.High computer literacy: High PC skills (Outlook/Office); previous experience with SAP will be considered a plus.US GAAP experience/knowledge.Strong understanding of Financial Statements; knowledge in Permanent Investment accounting will be highly valued.Axalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
