Context And Mission
We are looking for candidates interested in joining the tools team to work on the R+D of BSC performance tools (tools.bsc.es) Extrae and Dimemas. Candidates should have previous experience using or developing performance tools.

BSc or MSc in Computer Science Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
Good programming skills in C, C++ Familiarity with code versioning tools At least 2-3 years of experience developing performance tools Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
Knowledge of parallel programming models (MPI, OpenMP, ...) will be highly valued Previous experience developing BSC performance tools will be highly valued Previous experience using BSC performance tools will be highly valued Competences
Ability to work in a team/project Good English communication skills Conditions The position will be located at BSC within the Computer Sciences Department We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support for relocation procedures Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement Salary: A competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate Starting date: April 1st 2025 Applications procedure and process
