The team that you join: Repsol Low Carbon Generation (Renewables), positioned as one of the four business pillars of the Repsol Group in the framework of the Strategic Plan 2024-2027, aims to decarbonize our product portfolio and strengthen the position of the Company as a multi-energy supplier at national and international level, selects a Performance Analyst for its work centre located in Madrid, Spain. You will have the opportunity to participate in the ambitious Repsol LCG project with a broad growth plan in an inspiring environment together with qualified and widely experienced professionals from other leading companies in the sector.
Functions: Performance Analysis engineer monitors and analyzes underperformance issues related to the operation of the Wind, Solar and BESS assets. Manage and track the resolution of the underperformance detected issues, continuously present and communicate status and results to regional platforms from North America and Europe & Latam.
Definition and develop performance standard indicators and methods to detect and analyze underperformance issues such as power curve deviation, yaw misalignments, blades alignment, anemometer deviations, inverters underperformance, backtracking issues, MPPT issues, combiner and string underperformance, rack BESS underperformance issues, implementing processes to improve the accuracy of detections. Manage detected underperformance issues to track resolution and added value.
Monitor main standard KPIs of the Wind, Solar and BESS fleet from Repsol LCG as PBAs, TBAs, POI Production, WTG/INV Production, Electrical losses, Predicted, Expected, standard type energy losses and events, specific technology KPIs to identify possible performance improvement projects, fleet technical optimization and complete detailed comparisons against targets. Elaboration and presentation of performance monthly reports to regional platforms.
Working with large datasets and be comfortable querying datasets to databases. Write ad-hoc queries to capture data. Develop reporting capabilities and create interactive business intelligence (BI) reports.
Support the development of performance modelling software tools and other areas in the analysis, calculation, or programming specific properly indicators or results.
Definition and update technical specifications based on international standards, methodology procedures and support to Handover team in the definition of technical specifications related with pre-toc tests.
Work with performance improvement, RCA, and Technical Support to identify improvements or modifications that can increase the performance to quantify the financial benefit of the project. Interaction with Regional platforms, IT/OT and Control Centre, Market Operations, rest of areas from Technical Optimization and other internal and external staff.

Must be proficient with SQL and Python, programming skills.Minimum 4 years working by a company involved in the Solar or Wind sector. Experience in performance analysis must be demonstrated. It will be added value experience in manufacturing companies, maintenance service companies or energy utilities with strong technical duties which must be demonstrated.Required soft skills: strong statistical and analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and an open-minded attitude.
