People Operations Partner

PURPOSE
The people operations partner has a generalist profile and ensures the smooth running of daily operations in Region South, being the point of contact for employees and managers. The main focus will be recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues across the Region, which will take around 60%/70% of the time. The other 40%/30% will include participation in projects related to different areas of expertise, such as HR administration, compensation and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Recruitment (60%/70% of the time depending on the business needs): manages end-to-end recruitment projects internationally throughout Region Europe South and MENA. Prepares job descriptions, job postings, organizes and conducts interviews and makes the final proposal to the selected candidate
Onboarding of new employees: makes sure that everything is ready for Day 1 of new hires
Master data and documents: creating, maintaining and deleting employees in HR system, preparing offer letters, certificates, maintenance of employee files, org charts, etc.
Compensation and benefits: able to interpret and work with salary benchmarks, track existing benefits throughout the Region and participate in improvement initiatives to ensure Elopak is an attractive employer
Reporting: tracking of relevant KPIS and preparing reports when needed (absences, recruitment, etc.)
Payroll and HR Administration: if needed, oversees payroll in Spain, prepares monthly variables and communicates with external payroll provider.
Knowledge of Spanish labor law: able to understand collective agreements and some knowledge about labor law in Spain is desirable
Participates in the creation and update of HR policies and procedures locally

QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Human Resources Management or similar
Knowledge of Spanish Labor Law
5 years of professional experience in HR Generalist roles (including recruitment)
Fluent in English and Spanish. French is a plus
