People Operations Associate Responsible to: People Operations Teamleader Department: People Operations Location: JD Sports Fashion PLC (multi sited), Kingsway Distribution Centre, Michael Faraday Avenue, Milnrow, Rochdale, OL16 4 FW or Bury Office, Hollins Brook Way, Pilsworth, Bury BL9 8 RR Key Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the maintenance of personnel records throughout the employee lifecycle within our HRIS system for Group colleagues across the UK and ROI.
Responsible for all onboarding checks including checking right to work documentation.
Process all changes of terms and conditions, change of job role, salaries, benefits etc.
Issuing all documentation in relation to employment i.e.
contracts, offer letters.
Responding to and managing colleague queries via the internal request tracker system, emails and telephone calls, escalating where appropriate.
Internal and External referencing and background checks.
Produce Staff Discount/ID Cards.
Access provisioning within our HRIS system.
Ad hoc people operations duties as required.
Skills/Knowledge Needed: Strong communication skills.
Proficient use of MS Office and HRIS Systems.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to competing priorities whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to build strong working relationships.
