Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the People Manager will oversee and support HR for the full employee lifecycle for our 110+ kencko-ers located in our Montijo warehouse, Lisbon office, and remotely in Portugal, US, UK, Netherlands, and Spain.Responsibilities:Guide, coach, engage, and develop 1 amazing People team kencko-er!Partner with the CPO to oversee and contribute to the full HR delivery across the organizationBe a trusted partner for your stakeholders, providing expert advice, guidance, and coaching to managers in the full employee lifecycleDevelop strategies in the short, medium and long term to align with the company goals & the wider People teamEnsure our unique culture is embedded in our programs, processes, and interactionsTrack data, identify issues and trends, and work together with key stakeholders to implement solutionsPartner with the Quality team to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for allPartner with the Finance team to ensure successful implementation of payroll and our total rewards initiativesCreate training and development plans for our various job familiesStay abreast of new employment legislation and implement changes as warrantedImplement refinements to boost employee engagement & our eNPSFoster a transparent and supportive cultureDelivering wellbeing and recognition initiatives to enhance the kencko-er journeyRequirements:3+ years HR Management experience in a Portuguese warehouse environmentStrong familiarity with Portuguese labor legislationDemonstrated success as a people-first leader in a fastgrowing companySubstantial experience in HR functional areas: onboarding, employee relations, compensation philosophies, payroll, health & safety, performance management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, applicable employment laws, policies, and trainingRounded interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse internal and external stakeholdersProven experience with culture, engagement and wellbeing programsHigh level of ownership, proactiveness, and organizational skillsAn internal drive to make things betterOrganic understanding in showing judgment and thoughtfulness to the dynamics of a People departmentExperience optimizing HRIS and ATS platforms such as BambooHRProficiency in the GSuite including Google SheetsAbility to work in our Montijo warehouse a minimum of once weekly and occasionally from our Lisbon officeFluent language skills in English and PortugueseExperience in a global companyFamiliarity with DTC and retail businessesHow To ApplyAlong with your CV, please answer the questions found below; all materials must be submitted in English.What We OfferThe opportunity to join a B-Corp team that is shaking up the nutrition industry for the better!An employee stock equity awardPrivate health insurance, kencko pays 100% premium for you and your spouse/domestic partner25 days of paid time offDonation to your favorite charity on your birthday!Wellness perks via our kencko-er assistance programSteep discounts on kencko products for you and friends/family, plus free samples of new launchesGenerous Maternity/Paternity and Marriage Leave policiesDestination offsitesA casual, dynamic, ambitious, and for the real fun work environment**kencko is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
