You will regularly work across a wide range of areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, labour law, HR regulations, employee engagement, and talent development. The ability to understand the role of each business function in the organization will be critical to your success. Responsibilities:Lead the People Experience & Services Team in Madrid and ensure they provide support and high-quality service to employeesCollaborate closely with our local spanish Works CouncilBuild trusting and effective working relationships with managers and other employeesAssesses the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunitiesEnsure implementation of all legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employeesCollect feedback from employees to ensure continuous improvement of organizational culture and performance Supervision and control of the correctness and timeliness of all HR processes (e.G. HR documents and contracts, internal HR systems, performance evaluation forms, development plans)Coach managers and support employees in the process of any cultural or business change Contribute to the development of overall zooplus culture and people development, share local practices within the group QualificationsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience as HR Manager preferably in an international organizationUniversity degree (preferred in psychology, sociology, HR or related discipline)Critical skills include facilitation, ability to drive change, organizational skills, team managementBe able to use tactful, appropriate communication in sensitive and emotional situationsProficient knowledge of HR concepts, regulations/ legislation, processes and policiesAbility to work independently and under pressure Very good organizational and planning skillsKnowledge of HR trends, policies, HR Administration, performance appraisals, local labour law and talent developmentAbility to manage several projects and tasks simultaneouslyFluent in Spanish and English (a third language is a plus)Additional InformationWith more than 1,000 passionate professionals located across 10 European offices, we believe our success comes from working together and leveraging our international strengths
