About the Role: You are responsible for working with the People Analytics Lead to expand upon Liberty International Insurance's people analytics solutions (based on requirements you source from business leadership and the HR leadership team), and executing them seamlessly from creation to storytelling and presentation, leveraging Liberty's suite of tools, primarily Power BI.
Injecting automation and self-service as far as possible (for HR teams and managers) is key to the role, and you will be one of the team's experts in delivering these outcomes, drawing on support from Liberty Mutual's broader Talent Analytics community where required.
We have some excellent existing practices and solutions in place. However, this is a real opportunity for you to build on them and create new sustainable solutions which add maximum value.
About the Department & Team: The LII HR team is responsible for the delivery of HR services and capabilities to Liberty International Insurance, Liberty Mutual Reinsurance, the corporate functions which support them and the associated legal entities. Together, we support over 10,000 people across the UK, Europe, Middle-East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an understanding of the strategic and operational people analytics requirements of our business and HR leaders.Develop and maintain an expert understanding of our people data and its structure.Solve problems and deliver people analytics solutions. This includes the production of data-driven insights and recommendations, which you should be comfortable creating independently and personally presenting back to business and HR leaders.Ensure automation and self-service are at the heart of what we are delivering, with a view towards maximum automation over time.Act as an internal consultant on data analytics for the HR team, advising on data-driven solutions to problems and championing the replicable use of Power BI over time. Train other members of the team accordingly.Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, and with HR team members from the HR team and the wider Liberty Mutual HR organisation (particularly those focused on Talent Analytics).Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements, and demonstrate behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. Understand responsibilities relating to all regulatory and internal requirements, and proactively demonstrate compliance with these requirements and behaviours at all times.Skills and Experience: Fluency in English required.Experience within People Analytics roles or projects, enabling you to work broadly independently in the role (under strategic guidance).Genuine passion for data and analytics and an innovative flair for problem-solving.Demonstrable ability to deliver written and verbal insights, tell a story and offer recommendations.Experience with troubleshooting and quality assurance for data-driven solutions.Advanced Power BI and Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint skills.Ability to manage stakeholder expectations to balance meeting local needs with global consistency and prioritisation.Comfortable presenting dashboards and insights to a senior audience.Comfortable delivering end-to-end solutions from problem identification and solution design through to development, implementation and sustainment.Knowledge of the latest trends in People Analytics.Desirable: Advanced capability in PowerQuery, emerging capability in PowerApps, PowerAutomate.Desirable: Experience of management consulting and/or similar styles of projects.Desirable: Advanced Excel modelling capability for workforce projections and modelling.About Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) Liberty Specialty Markets is part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, a leading global insurer.
