Facilitating home-school communication through meetings and written communications, while maintaining confidentiality of students and their records.
Using data to organise, plan, set goals, and evaluate progress throughout the year helps in establishing a safe and orderly environment.
Collaborating with all school personnel to create a professional and positive learning community, attending faculty meetings, and participating in assigned activities are important duties.
Assigning reasonable tasks and homework, undertaking lunchtime and playtime duties, and ensuring effective behaviour management and attendance monitoring are key responsibilities.
Keeping planning up to date and detailed for cover situations, supporting the school's mission and policies, complying with health and safety policies, and undertaking risk assessments are necessary.
