Functiebeschrijving As a PACCAR Parts PDC Supervisor, reporting to the PDC Assistant Manager, you manage a team of logistics employees. You coordinate the work of your employees so that the activities are carried out in accordance with the applicable process rules. You are responsible for the correct execution of all activities regarding receipt, packaging, storage, inventory control, and shipping of parts in such a way that they arrive at the customers/dealers in the correct specification, quantities and within the stated delivery time, at optimal costs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Plan operations and assign work ensuring the expedient flow of product in/out of the PDC. Lead by example with highest degree of integrity. Promote teamwork and a safe, collaborative, respectful work environment. Lead warehouse operations within established cost, productivity, quality, inventory control, customer service, and safety metrics. Foster a climate of continuous improvement. Initiate or participate in improvement projects related (but not limited to) safety, quality, delivery, productivity, or ergonomics. Ensure the required skills and knowledge level of employees. Effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. Prepare, direct, and coordinate reports and information. Participate in special assignments/projects; available for travel and/or relocation. Jouw profiel Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management Minimum 2 years of leadership and supervision with PACCAR or other business experience Distribution, logistics, manufacturing, quality, or inventory control experience Ability to manage technical projects Proven communication and management skills in a fast-paced environment. Fully proficient in Spanish and English Flexibility to work different and varied work schedules, including moderate travel as necessary Willing to relocate Afdeling PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is responsible for growing spare parts sales to customers in all DAF markets worldwide, exclusively through the DAF and TRP branded dealer network; DAF, PACCAR and TRP. PPE uses 5 state-of-the-art distribution centers (PDCs) in Eindhoven, Leyland, Madrid, Budapest and (in the nearby future) Massbach and delivers unique and innovative customer and dealer solutions.
