User Researcher We are looking for a highly collaborative User Experience Researcher to join our growing User Experience (UX) & Research team in Barcelona.
This is an amazing opportunity to work on products supporting Intellectual Property Management and workflows while being part of a highly functioning UX organization.
The entire UX team consists of 50 practitioners located globally and includes a dedicated group of User Researchers that report to the Manager of User Research.
We are a very connected UX community and are influencing the organization to deeply adopt the UX process in the product development lifecycle.

About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments At least 3 years of experience doing usability testing, user research, conducting customer journey workshops, and creating research reports.
At least 3 years of experience supporting User Research tasks for a product or set of products.
Bachelor's degree in human-computer engineering, user experience design, or related degree, or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience.

Completion of a human-computer interaction (HCI) program.
Understanding of UX design principles and methodologies.
High empathetic nature and aptitude for the end user of a product.
High customer experience curiosity and the enthusiasm to dig deeper to understand "why" people do the things the way they do them.
Solid analytical skills combined with user experience research methods.
Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative user data experience.
Ability to write clear and concise questions and tasks in terms test participants can understand.
Solid command of the English language, excellent writing skills, solid proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.
Education (Master's degree or PhD).
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?
Creating interview guides.
Recruiting customers for testing.
Scheduling sessions.
Conducting customer interviews.
Documenting data collected, creating reports, and presenting findings.
Collaborating with Product and UX to facilitate and/or participate in documenting customer journey maps.
Educating Product colleagues on the practice of user research.
Documenting and updating customer personas.
Product You Will Be Developing The area of focus for this User Researcher will be the Intellectual Property Lifecycle Management and workflow tools.
These are products that range from growth to mature products.
The UXR tasks will span usability testing to discovery work to understand needs and wants from the end users.
About the Team While attached to this suite of products, the UXR will also have fellow UXR colleagues to collaborate and connect with.
Additionally, this colleague will be a part of our broader UX (50 person) community and participate in team building and knowledge sharing events.
Finally, as part of the Barcelona office, this new colleague will also have access to our growing UX (9 person) team in that location.
The product team stakeholders are also a distributed team based in the USA, Australia, and Europe.
Hours of Work This is a full-time role operating during local business hours at 40 hours a week.
