In this role you will lead Payroll & Benefits process for selected countries in Europe region within Human Resources and C&B organization working on the implementation of unique Payroll solution and standardized processes supporting approximately 5,500 employees & 40 Legal entities. Coordinate a regional/local payroll team (spoke), global C&B and Payroll initiatives, vendor's administration, and daily payroll operations/reports to provide service in a timely, accurate & compliant manner per tax authorities, businesses, & internal deadlines.A successful Payroll Manager will:Overall responsibility for managing and operating the End-to-End (E2E) payroll process for countries in the Region.Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX) and the local authorities in countries in scope.Liaise with BPO and other local resources as needed to address questions/issues in this area.Manage BPO relationship at multi-country and affiliate levels and control payroll provider operations to ensure efficient and effective payroll processes.Manage Payroll team supporting the countries under the Specialist's responsibility, ensuring effective recruiting of qualified payroll professionals.Control vendor accountability, including SLAs, and Payroll Dashboard Metrics, timelines of all operational response and resolutions, and escalation processes.Coordinate delivery and setup operational calendars to Finance, Fiscal and operational deliverables.Monitor the correct implementation of Payroll and C&B practices and policies.Identify, track, and solve operational issues and improvement opportunities within the Area.A successful Payroll Manager will have:Bachelor's Degree in Labor law or Business Administration or related field.At least 8-10 years of experience in Payroll & Benefits or HR Operations with a broad understanding of payroll operational activities.Knowledge of Country labor law and Workers Contract agreements.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).High level of English language proficiency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining positive working relationships.Ability to manage relationships with vendors/providers to ensure attainment.As North America's only vertically integrated travel, hospitality and leisure management group, Apple Leisure Group is an industry innovator that combines the expertise of 14 leading brands
