Working closely with our Global Total Rewards team, the successful Payroll & Benefits Manager will play a key role in providing operation, vendor management, and project oversight relating to Benefits & Payroll processing.What You'll Take On:Ensure compliance with Spanish Labor, Income Tax, Social Security, CBA, and other applicable legislation requirements in accordance with company guidelines.Administration of all CBA-mandated and supplemental leaves, health and insurance plans, tax-efficient voucher schemes and perks, including processing of enrolments, changes, and terminations.Facilitate effective resolution of issues raised through HR business partners, managers, and employees and act as a liaison with benefit and payroll vendors.Work with the Global Total Rewards Team by providing local support as follows:Preparing recommendations for new plan and existing plan renewals, presenting these to decision-making leadership, coordinating approvals and updating relevant systems, agreements, as well as, preparing new/updated communications, training materials, presentations, new benefit orientations, etc.Management of global benefits programs, champion networks and coordinating related events.Preparing analyses and reports for Global HR, Finance, Tax, Audit, and local management.Monitoring trends in Spain, reviewing benefit offerings, collating feedback from brokers, advisers, managers, HR, and employees by putting forward evidence-based recommendations to the International Benefits Team.Participate and occasionally lead project initiatives impacting Benefits and Payroll.Understanding of Equity processing and reporting for RSUs and ESPP programs.Identify, document, and establish key processing and operational controls including, but not limited to:Aggregating key details to facilitate accurate and timely processing between Workday and BDO.Audit, balance, and reconciliation of each payroll on a monthly and annual basis.Strong focus on maintaining compliance and appropriately handling confidential information.Coordinate employee transfers/relocation activities within the company.Prepare internal employee communications on benefits and/or payroll deadlines to ensure effective, accurate, and timely dissemination of information.What You Bring:Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of benefits and payroll administration experience within a mid-size or large Spain-based employer.Self-starter who effectively plans work, sets priorities, and can manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines; priorities can shift, so agility is essential.Exceptional high-touch customer service and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of government and CBA-related regulations, filings, and compliance requirements related to employee benefit programs and leaves.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS system, Workday experience is a plus.Self-motivated, confident, team player, great verbal and written communication skills, interest to work in a creative environment.Fluent in both English and Spanish.Strong knowledge of payroll regulatory requirements.Ability to work in both a team environment and independently while adhering to procedures.Strong interpersonal skills and innovative team player.What We Offer You:Great Company Culture: We pride ourselves as being one of the most creative and innovative places to work, creativity, innovation, efficiency, diversity, and philanthropy are among the core tenets of our organization and are integral drivers of our continued success.Growth: As a global entertainment company, we pride ourselves on creating environments where employees are encouraged to be themselves, inquisitive, collaborative, and to grow.
