Patient and Referrer Content Strategy Senior Specialist THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED IN MILAN, MADRID, LONDON, PARIS, DUSSELDORF, WARSAW
About the role As part of Marketing Excellence EMEA Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team, the Patient and Referrer Content Strategy Senior Specialist contributes to delivering excellence in customer and patient experience and omnichannel marketing. The IMC EMEA Team develops and implements integrated communication campaigns, blending expertise in branding, content strategy, and copywriting to engage our audiences with relevant and meaningful content along the customer or patient journey and to strengthen the Boston Scientific brand.
Your Responsibilities will include:Drive content strategy methodology evolution for patient and referrer audiences in close collaboration with Patient and Referrer Center of Excellence.Set up guardrails for divisional IMC for patient and referrer content strategies, their execution and measurement.Act as a change agent and primary IMC partner to EMEA Patient and Referrer stakeholders and Corporate Marketing for all matters of Direct to Patient (DTP) and Direct to Referrer (DTR) content.Advocate operating models, processes, tools and technologies along the content lifecycle. Work collaboratively with the IMC team for any proof of concept, pilot and socialization of new processes, guidelines and resources.Participate in regional Patient Council and Advisory Boards to represent IMC.Coordinate sharing of best practices for different channels and content types for patient and referrer audiences.Lead patient/referrer-facing content audit process, conduct assessment of content needs.Provide guidance for Branding and content creation such as tone of voice, language level for patient audience and creatives for patient audience.Identify template and image gaps and manage development of templates/addressing gaps. Manage related content collections.Manage and evolve content analytics for patient and referrer audiences in collaboration with the Analytics and Digital Marketing teams. Leverage insights to understand audience preferences and continuously enhance the customer experience.Advocate localization best practices for patient and referrer audiences.Translate value propositions into stories through compelling storytelling.Manage vendor partners in compliance with Boston Scientific's policies and manage and track budget.Monitor established metrics with productivity and effectiveness in mind.Successfully collaborate with key partners in EMEA and Global Integrated Marketing Communications and demonstrate excellence in creating synergies, cross-fertilization, and continuous improvement. What are we looking for in you?Knowledge and Experience:3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications and/or content strategies (B2B and B2C).Professional with complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in the field. Applies a full understanding of the area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.Experience in developing and deploying successful content strategies for marketing communications campaigns or programs.Apply business experience, expertise and relationship skills to influence stakeholders.Demonstrate understanding of the formal and informal organization by building partnerships that promote stakeholder action, even without direct authority.Partner with and advise business stakeholders to enable meaningful communications, consistent with company values.Fluency in English.Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or other relevant fields.Preferred MedTech industry knowledge. Competencies and Behaviours:Planning, prioritizing, executing and monitoring projects and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe, standard and budget.Highly organised with good project management and planning skills.General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross-group dependencies/relationships.Knowledge about SEO and content production for various digital, social media and other channels is an advantage.Understanding patient and referrer audience needs and opportunities is an advantage.
