Principal Partner Development Manager with Global Ownership of Strategic Partnership.Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is building a team of excellent sales and business development professionals to establish relationships and manage the success of our Consulting partners within the EMEA market and globally.As a Partner Development Manager for one of our Strategic Consulting Partners, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of the AWS cloud-computing platform.Responsibilities include:On-boarding, developing and expanding the strategic partner, understanding their services, technical solutions, vertical focus, expertise and licensing models.Working closely aligned to the AWS account team and with other AWS Partner Development Managers and Partner Solution Architects.Key job responsibilities:Drive forward strategic pursuits at key partner accounts.Manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.Communicate progress or roadblocks through high-quality writing and executive communication.Handle complex problems and decisions to deliver high impact.Develop the partner and leverage applicable APN programs to accelerate their partnership journey with AWS.A day in the life:The PDM acts as the owner of the named partner's business within AWS, consistently looking for ways to strengthen the partner's differentiation and business execution with AWS. The PDM will help in organizing and actively participating in GTM activities and advocate for the partner within the AWS organization.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Partner Acquisition, Management or Development experience in the software/technology industry in the DACH market.Strong business and technical acumen with a track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies.Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts.Consultative customer-facing and persuasion skills.Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.Strong analytical and program management skills.Fluent in German and English.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Degree qualified.Technical qualification.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
