This position reports to Lead Counsel Your role and responsibilities Our ABB Motion Legal Operations Team is looking for a paralegal to join our Motion Legal Operations teams.
The ideal candidate will be in Belgium, the Netherlands or in Spain.
As the Motion Legal Operations team we focus on continuous improvement, we align our tasks and activities with the priorities of our Legal community, internal and external stakeholders.
We come up with ways to improve our way of working, tools and processes.
We offer legal administrative support and where possible we take ownership of time-consuming repetitive/transactional tasks.
We manage our projects, workflows, and programs effectively.
We promote collaboration by facilitating new ways and opportunities to build on each other strength and weaknesses.
We gather business intelligence to facilitate strategic thinking and pro-actively tackle risks and legal implications.
Our goal is continuous improvement.
As Paralegal and as part of our Motion Legal Operations team, your key responsibilities are the following: Support with enhancing legal processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency Manage and support projects to ensure proper execution of the legal operations initiatives Review of legal documentation (NDAâ€s to assure compliance with ABBâ€s corporate policies and guidelines Support with corporate matters and legal entities management Supporting with creating and rolling out legal trainings program Support with data analysis and reporting on metrics Support with Legal law firm engagement, including engagement letters and internal follow up with payments The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid Qualifications for the role Completed bachelorâ€s degree or similar educational background +2 years work experience in a similar role Strong English communications skills and proficiency in writing is a must Strong collaboration and project management skills Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools and development of business tooling (such as process maps, procedures, guides etc.).
